The other thing we had to do was install the new dash pad from OER. The original pad from 1966 was still in the car and absolutely trashed. This previously hard to find key guard is an authentic reproduction of the original equipment installed on 1964-65 Chevelle and El Heater box had a mouse house in it after all these years. Smelt really bad too.
